True Colors

We made a startling discovery this weekend, one that we haven't seen in any books or heard about from other people.

As you have seen in POTD section, most of the photos show Boy Wonder smiling or otherwise being very cute (in my opinion). So, this weekend he was upset because his gums hurt; it was the kind of "upset" where the neighbors are peeking over the fence to see if you are beating the child, I thought it would be a good idea to take a photo of the boy to show on the blog (hopefully Caden will get his Mom's brains). While I was trying to comfort him, Sherrill took the photo.

One might think that a hysterical baby would not react well to the red light which eliminates red eye (and never works) and then the bright flash. Well I'm here to tell you that simply wasn't the case. The next photo was taken about 1 second after the first. Here is where we made the discovery, no matter how upset he was, every time Caden would see the red light he would smile. We tested our theory about 10 times with perfect success.

I'm thinking about calling my book either "bright white light, the beginning or the end" or "flash your kids, a guide to the well adjusted child"
