Now back to the Guys...
(Dad flashback to the previous night checklist)
Camera check. Never leave home with out it
Diapers and Wipes check. Ditto
4 baby outfits with matching socks check
22 spit up towels check (actually it was only 4)
"Man Bag" for carrying above items while preserving manliness Check Check
Cooler with 28oz of breast milk-- Uhmm gross. Dealing with breast milk for men is kind of like when we go to the grocery story and buying "feminine products". I think you know what I mean.
This is the first time Boy Wonder has gone longer than one feeding without visiting Che Areola or Cafe Breastica so the "day without breasts" should be an interesting one.
(Saturday morning)
The Boy and I drop Sherrill off at her "Celebrating Men" class and head south to visit the family. The baby is crying so I'm going to have to speed this up a bit. That is while writing this, not in the car to visit Grandma. In the car he falls asleep quicker than Daddy can say Starbucks Venti decaf hazelnut latte with non fat milk.
While I have fed Caden with a bottle many times, well okay a few times, I will admit I was a bit nervous on how this whole bottle day event was going to play out. Clearly, I underestimated the talent of the people at Grandma's house and my ability to get them to do the work for me.

Grandma Marla (left) and Grandma Cathy both took a turn at feeding the boy. You can tell by the look in their eyes that they know what they are doing!!We also got to hang out with the Uncle Casey and Auntie Lisa as well as Caden's Cousin Bella

After Lisa makes Caden cry she introduces him to his soon to be cousin, Starbuck.Look at the belly on that one. The due date is May 30 but the smart money says it will happen way before then.
I think we all remember this goofball. Caden, he is the one I told you about.
Here is Caden preparing for his first Flinstones's party. Just kidding, that is me at 6 weeks. Leopard skin was big in 1968.In the end, it was a lot of travel as we had to be back to pick up Mommy at 6:00 but a good trip overall. I ended up not feeding the boy at all (someone else was always there to do it) or needing to change his outfit. The Man Bag did its job well and we only blew through a few diapers. The Guys had a great day.
