One of Sherrill's coworkers, Kayleen and husband Jason, had their baby girl 6 weeks after Caden showed up. Boy Wonder, with parents in tow, went over for a visit last week to meet Baby Flannery.
She is a doll; she weighs about half as much as "Tank" and has twice as much hair. She is also much more advanced then Caden in the art of "Self Expression" and gave Caden a quick "how to" on making sure he fully uses his lungs. Friend #1, Flannery.
About the same time we visited Flannery, Caden started getting fussy and for a minute I thought that we had just come across Caden's "kryptonite", but in time we (meaning Sherrill) realized that The Boy was teething.
What the heck is teething, you say? Well, apparently it is the emergence of the first baby teeth through a baby's gums. It can start as early as 3 months and last for up to 3 years. Uhm, let me check but I don't really remember anyone pointing this item out during our "full disclosure" period. Meet friend #2, Bee Teething Toy.

You already know about the new car, but did you know Caden had his first run-in with the law in the car last week? Johnny Law came a-knockin' when Mom, in our (her) new Honda Accord Hybrid in Redondo Red with heated leather seats, was enjoying the comfortable ride on the way to a doctor appointment. It turns out Sherrill had lapsed into her alter ego, "Velocity Vixen" and was ripping down the road a few miles per hour over the limit.
The "but it is a new car" and the ever popular "but I have a baby" tactics didn't seem to phase this hardened officer of the law who issued our heavy footed friend a citation on the spot. It turns out that this is Sherrill's first speeding ticket ever! Unfortunately there are no pictures of the event as the paparazzi had just left Caden and Sherrill and were headed over to Britney and K-Fed's house. Friend #3, man with pretty flashing lights.

Are YOU Looking at Me?Just a couple shots I thought were cute. The first one makes him look a bit bigger than he actually is although the belly is the right size (inherited from Dad).
Non related but also occurring last week, we finally had our fence repaired after it blew down right after the boy was born (he is a Uniter not a Divider). You may be glad to know that we are now fully protected from possible illegal immigrants sneaking into our back yard from the west. Mr. President, there is no need to stop by. Friend #4 Fence for future "tagging" project.
