Last week Mom took the Boy to Tip Toes and the got there a little late. Apparently absence makes the heart grow fonder in little kids; upon arriving at the class Alpha Girl came running over to Boy Wonder and welcomed him in with a big "Hi Friend" and against his best attempt to melt back into his Mom she pulled him into class. Alpha Girl also proved she can minimize competition; whenever the teacher grabs BWs hand to get him involved in the class, Alpha runs over and separates the teacher's hand and replace it with her own. Now that is commitment.
Coincidentally, it turns out that Boy Wonder's Mom and Alpha's Mom were in a mommy and me class together at the hospital where the kids were born.
I was eager to see how this relationship progressed in week 3 of class but was sadly disappointed by Alpha's absence. It will be interesting to see the impact form this "time apart".
